Ok,I don't get this, and it's probably just me. But... Picture this: Single use public bathroom. You're in there, doing whatever you went in there to do. Someone tries the door. It's locked. This is the part I don't get. They knock on the door. Why the hell do you knock? Like you're going to switch duties midstream (yes, pun intended, sorry) leap up, and let them in? I assume it's to let you know someone is waiting. But even that has no purpose. I mean, it comes out at its own pace, and for the pee-shy, knowing someone's banging impatiently on the door may actually slow the process down. And in my case, there's two more bathrooms around the corner. It's very rare that all three are taken. So why annoy me when I'm trying to relieve myself? Especially when nine times out of ten, by the time I've taken care of business, they've left. Hell, some days, that's the only break I get from people. And at home, my using the toilet is a spectator sport. Both the kid and the cat have to investigate to make sure I'm not going to fall in or something. I haven't peed privately for years.
